Two Types Of Parallel Groove Clamps Are Now Available From Galvan


HARRISBURG, N.C. -- Galvan Industries is offering utility customers two popular types of its high-strength parallel groove clamps with prefilled oxide inhibitor.

Type PAA parallel groove clamps are available in one- and two-bolt configurations. Made from rugged aluminum alloy, they feature a galvanized bolt, nut and lockwasher. PAA groove clamps fit a range of conductor ratings. Prefilled oxide inhibitor - suitable for bi-metallic applications -- is offered as an option.

Galvan Type PAC parallel groove clamps require no pre-installation assembly. They feature a corrosion resistant design and construction. Their cast aluminum body encases a copper lining that seals out moisture. As an option, the groove clamps can be prefilled with oxide inhibitor.

Galvan Industries' electrical grounding products are used in a wide variety of residential, commercial and industrial applications. These include construction, cable TV, lightning protection, power transmission and distribution, telecommunications and OEM markets.
