New Galvan Pipe Clamps' Feature Copper Straps With Conduit Hubs And Saddle ClampsHARRISBURG, N.C.- A new series of UL listed ground clamps from Galvan Industries features copper straps designed to protect rigid conduit from the effects of vibrations when connected to a water system. Conduit hubs with saddle clamps make grounding connections simple and secure. Cast from a highly conductive copper alloy, the new high-strength grounding clamps are available for 1/2-inch to 1-inch piping and handle 1/2, 3/4, and 1-inch conduit. The clamps can be ordered with either a regular hub or 360-degree swing hub. The cast bronze saddle clamp makes it easy to complete the grounding connection from the hub. Simply slide the appropriate conductors under the clamp and tighten the two plated steel screws.
