Stainless Steel Ground Rods, Pigtail Ground Rods And Accessories Now Available From Galvan IndustriesCHARLOTTE -- Rugged 304 and 316 stainless steel ground rods and mig-welded pigtails for galvanized and copper ground rods in a variety of diameters and lengths are the latest additions to the lineup of grounding rods from Galvan Industries. Galvan manufactures all models of stainless steel ground rods including sectional rods. Standard sizes range from 5/8-inch by 5 feet to 1-inch by 10 feet. Availability can vary from stock to two weeks. Stainless steel rods, often specified in governmental and industrial installations, may provide a better-performing alternative to other rods when used in adverse soil conditions. Pigtail configurations are available in several lengths and are permanently mig-welded (vs. compression or exothermic) to copper-clad or hot dip galvanized ground rods.
